Maxine attended and graduated from Xavier Prep High and Xavier University class of 57. While at Xavier University she met and married the love of her life Joseph Jackson a football, basketball, and track standout athlete. Soon after they relocated to Los Angeles, California where they both worked as teachers and enjoyed their family of eight children.
